Yeah. I know I had Lice. After I thought I had my hair all cleaned out, I was still so freaked out (and feeling stuff move) I went to a lice specialist who combed through my hair with an enzyme. She found 1 dead nit. So I know for sure I had the lice.

I know for sure my daughter had scabies. Her doctor diagnosed it. I don't know for sure that I had scabies. But the doctor prescribed Ivermectin for me anyway, just in case. Plus I was taking the lice treatment and putting it all over my body. So that woke up the worms.

But the other part of this story is that the doctors had thought I had Inflammatory Myopothy (a muscle disease) and one neurologist put me on Predinise for 6 months. The neurologist who ordered the sleep study looked at the biopsy and said I didn't have Inflammatory Myopothy because the imflammation was in my connective tissue, not muscle. So he stopped the prednisone. So just as the prednisone was stopped, is when I had the sleep study and the lice infection. So even if I had scabies, the prednisone would have kept the inflammation and itching at bay. So hard to tell. but the prednisone made the worms a hyperinfection.
