Well, now that you've finished your rant, consider this:
I had abdominal pain and other gastro symptoms for several years, and all of the ova stool tests came back negative. My endoscopy and colonoscopy revealed inflammation throughout, but not diagnosis of the source.
An alternative health practictioner ordered the Metametrix PCR test, and it came back positive for two parasites. But he couldn't prescribe the meds I needed.
So I took the report to my MD, and he wrote the scrip for Albendazole and another medication whose name I can't remember right now.
A month later, I was pain freed, my symptoms were gone, and subsequent testing found no evidence of parasites. That was 6 years ago, and my gut problems are entirely gone.
So by your standards, I guess this was all dumb luck and placebos, huh?
