Re: Kelp making things worse?

Hegen,

I recommend the Dr. Brownstein Iodine protocol:

Multiple doctors and years of experience with thousands of people on the program.

Amazing results as seen in our testimonials:

Also this:
- - - Kelp contaminated with Arsenic & Mercury. Contamination with heavy metals can be a serious problem with sea vegetation. Recently, 8 of 9 herbal kelp supplements from a health food store were found to have excessive levels of arsenic in them (74) . For this reason, and because only iodide is present, this is not a preferred source of this iodine.

Lugols & Iodoral Iodine are pure and have the correct ratio of iodine & iodide.

PS) I think it is important when taking iodine that you follow a doctor's recommended protocol. Each of the co-supplements are important to assist in detox and to avoid potential harm to the thyroid. Selenium is essential with iodine to prevent thyroid problems. Selenium & iodine are co-requisites. One without the other can result in problems.
