Re: Kelp making things worse?
I saw this kelp supplement thats specifically made for thyroid at the local health food store yesterday. It had 175mg of
Iodine from kelp and some other supporting supplements like selenium, tyrosine (i think it was that?) And some other stuff. I wish I could remember/paid more attention. I wonder of something like that would work better for you?
Are you taking any other kinds of thyroid support supplements?
When I go back tomorrow I'll get the info for you. I actually wanted to grab a bottle and try it myself. I'm not hypoT, but feels like i was borderline there for a while with some of the symptoms, other than weight gain and
Iodine supplementing seemed to have fixed quite a few small, nagging issues.
I'm not sure of the answer to your question, but thyroid issues are complicated... and there are certain supplements needed in order to make sure the body is using the
Iodine correctly.
