The FMT procedure in 6 steps:

Step 1 - Get fresh healthy feces from your sister.
Step 2 - Liquefy feces using a kitchen blender.
Step 3 - Suck the liquefied feces into a rectal syringe
Step 4 - Empty the syringe into your rectum
Step 5 - Keep the liquefied feces inside your colon for at least 2 hours
Step 6 - Empty your colon


Could mary88 get fresh feces from her sister, or would a licensed professional do a much better job? Why?

Don't get me wrong, there is a place for medical professionals, but it is not the recipient that needs a medical professional, it is the donor, the twin sister.

The sister needs to test her feces for intestinal parasites, bad bacteria, and she needs blood tests for all possible STDs, even when chances for contacting any STD by Poop Transplant are somewhere around 0.000001%

So far, there have never been reported any side effects of this therapy.



So, if mary88 is to choose between overdosing on sleeping pills without a help of a medical professional, or doing FMT at home without a help of a medical professional, what would be the safest for her?


I guess affliction considers it safer to overdose on sleeping pills :-)
