Re: Is iodine reducing the effectiveness of antibiotics?

Thanks Grizz!
Good reading to do.
I am hesitant too and did resist for a while. I don't want to excuse my choice, but it's the first time I have a sinusitis and also it's the first time I have an ear infection. I have no experience with these. I had many strep infections and got prescribed 5 rounds of Antibiotics in 10 months. It was hell and the 6th time, when I got again a year later (confirmed with a swab), I fought back differently because I didn't want to have to through the Antibiotic dance again. I didn't know about Iodine then, I did what I knew. I treated it with a lot of garlic, apple vinegar and an echinacea spray, along with lots of vitC and vitD and Goldenseal. It worked and I haven't had another one since.

You are the one who initiated me to Iodine and I am forever grateful to you for that. It has helped me in many ways but not yet for the main reason I'm taking it: getting my iron up. It actually went down since taking Iodine but I stick with because I am convinced it will help in the long run.
