Arnold Ehret and best fasting advice
I'm sure at least a few of you have read some of Arnold Ehret's work on fasting. Two of his best books were "Rational Fasting" and "Mucusless Diet Healing System". He said if you cannot do a water fast, drink only lemon juice or lemon juice with a little brown
Sugar added to sweeten it. He did an exclusive fruit only diet for three years or so, and was recorded by scientists 24 hour/7 day a week
Water Fast for 49 days in about the 1920's sometime. So this man really knew what he was talking about!
So I am thinking maybe (for me) instead of the one to one ratio of maple syrup to lemon juice, maybe instead, for example, eight
ounces of lemon juice with one ounce of maple syrup and maybe no cayenne pepper (with no water added), no laxative, and no swf. As my intuition tells me the large amount of maple syrup would slow down the cleanse, and I think it is stressfull on the kidneys and pancreas too. This would also be close to being a mono diet, one food per day, best diet considered by a lot of natural doctors, and I think for me it would work better than all the extra stuff. Also I am a type A blood type which suggests no spicy peppers at all, although I like peppers.
I think I will try this plan, for at least a little bit: very little maple syrup and no cayenne pepper, and to not water down the lemon juice at all. This is not my idea, it based on the genius of Arnold Ehret.
As long as I can remember, the less food I eat, the better I feel, and when I dont eat for a day I feel awesome, with at least twice the energy verses if I ate food.
Sorry, I know this and another recent post will frustrate a lot of people, but I figure different people need different variations.
