Re: Why can't I get relief from detox symptoms?
It does get overwhelming, especially when you have to pinpoint the root cause of the problem on your own thanks to unhelpful doctors. And it's very frustrating when you try something but it doesn't work (or at least it doesn't take effect immediately). But I have to say, impatience and frustration is better than not having any hope at all.
I know exactly how it feels to not want to look at your own health issues. I was like that, although in my case I didn't want to care because I was led to believe it would aggravate the body even more. But I was forced to care because my symptoms slowly got worse and worse. It had gotten so bad that at one point, I was literally teetering at the brink of death. I had so little energy I couldn't produce normal body heat, my heart rate became dangerously slow, and my spirit (or soul/mind/consciousness/astral body/whatever you like to call that silvery wispy thing that's detachable from the body) developed a habit of slipping out of my physical body. I already knew something was very wrong but that's when it really hit me that if I didn't take action to address my health, I was literally going to die.
That was when I finally decided to do some research. I discovered my symptoms were the result of hypothyroidism and candidiasis, not
Depression as the doctors had believed, and moreover I found hope. Hope because I finally had names to problems that could be solved.
I started supplementing with vitamins, minerals, herbs, and HCL. The ominous feeling of death never left until a few months in. I was still in bad shape but my spirit was less prone to detach from my body and I was no longer bedbound. It's been a couple of years now, and I'm glad to say I can pass for a healthy person if it wasn't for the amount of hair I already lost. I still have candida problems and an annoyingly low body temperature but they too will disappear with time and diligent care of the body.
I guess what I'm trying to say in a really roundabout way is.. I think you should persuade him to do some research and try to find cures. I don't know how bad his health issues are but even if it seems like a minor problem now, some health conditions could get a lot worse if you just ignore it. And who knows, he could be a click away from solving everything. I know I'm idealizing here since healing journeys usually take time as well as a lot of effort just to uncover the root cause(s). But it seems like he already has some idea of what the root problem may be. All you guys have to do now is find the solution. Ok, that's also a challenge in and of itself since there's so many protocols and suggestions out there.. I've had some minor setbacks from taking some not-so-good advice but the nice thing is the good ones far outweigh the bad.
