The Mcdougall diet could be helpful, except he doesn't seem to address anything about candida. I also am not opposed to a generous amount of fat in the diet. I find 3-4 tbsp of good fat a day helps me think more clearly and have 'more vitality'. The Mcdougall diet sounds more ideal for periods of mild cleansing. Did you use this diet to treat candida specifically? I know people have reported the 80/10/10 ghram diet works for eliminating candida because it's low fat. I'm curious if the same effect can be achieved with cooked starches?
