Re: Low Stomach Acid can cause Vitamin A deficiency

Thanks for the info, it seems hard to find any info online on vitamin A deficiency. I was deficient in vitamin A, D, K, and Zinc. I believe these all play important roles for the development and healing of auto immune issues. After 2 years of supplementing my vitamin D, K and Zinc levels are now in the high-normal. Although my vitamin A is exactly where it used to be )250 range=300-1200)
I've tried Nordic Naturals Cod Liver Oil, the bottle as well as the capsules, Vitamin A capsules from Blue Bonnet, and from Country Life (which contain vitamin A from retinol and beta carotene, last one is useless)
I just ordered Carlson Lab Vitamin A+D which is from pure fish oil. But I'm starting to think that the form doesn't matter and that I have an absorption problem.
I was hoping you might have some ideas.
Thank you for your time.
Best,
Eva6
