Full moon makes symptoms worse?
Backstory: I have had recurring symptoms for months now, no positive stool test but visible worms in stool suspected to be toxocara cati. Albendazole does no good as they only come back worse than before.
Anywho, the point of this post is a bit of an odd subject. I could be crazy at this point, and that wouldn't surprise me, but I want personal opinions on this as the medical literature on the subject is rare, and the sources are iffy at best.
Do you notice any change in symptoms 2-5 days before and after a full moon? Some people say that
parasites have some way of "feeling" lunar cycles in a similar manner to birds flying south. Some go so far as to say scattered worms migrate back to the intestines during this time period.
I'd really love to hear your thoughts on this.
Also, on a side note, if anyone knows anything about Celiac developing as a result of a parasitic infection or rather a
parasite kill "triggering" Celiac, this would be useful too. 2 weeks into a completely gluten free diet and the diarrhea has almost completely gone away oddly enough. Still experiencing sharp pains in my abdomen and recurring constipation, but any relief in symptoms is welcome at this point.
