Iodine can raise TSH in blood test

After two months of daily 8 drops Lugol's 5% I have made a blood test.

The TSH is high and that means low thyroid.

Turns out this can be caused by Iodine intake. It could actually be a false reading.

So I want to warn people who take Iodine that this can happen.

While reading a little about hypothyroidism I came across this article from Dr. Mercola:
http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2009/10/20/signs-symptoms-...

He doesn't recommend Lugol's.

Natural Iodine like Kelp for example is much better for You.
