I just got the results by phone for my biopsy and it seems like I have an h.pylori infection. The endoscopy didn't find any ulcer in the duodenum so I guess the inflammation might be futher down in the small intestine.
So I guess, my doctor is going to give antibiotics, that I will not take for sure! At least until I have looked for other options. Mastic gum seems to be the first thing to try, so that is what I'm going to do.
Do you have any other recommandations for h.pylori?
Do you think a false positive could be possible with a biopsy?
Thank you.
