Another thing a lot of naysayers miss I think is that the distilled water is no longer distilled once you put it in your mouth and it mixes with your saliva which is already a somewhat saline solution. This is before it even reaches your stomach and mixes with the acids there. Secondly, spring water or even well water has very little minerals in it. Evemn hard water has only a very small fraction of the amount of minerals in say juice. The amount of minerals your body takes in from your water is minute virtually negligible when compared to other drinks and foods that you eat. People don't seem to consider that...but the amazing thing is that these scientist miss it...well at least ones who argue against it.
