I have the same issue with my eyes made worse by CFS. My optometrist did all the checks and said he's seen the same problem with other Chronic-Fatigue-Syndrome people. He explained that it's caused by low blood pressure and blood volume, typical problem caused by dysfunctioning adrenals - blood not reaching the head properly.
The mechanics (hardware)of my eyes turned out to be working fine. I also get white lights cross my eyes when I put my head down on the pillow at night. It was scary - flashes and blurry vision. You can try some magnesium but too much makes it worse as magnesium can lower blood pressure but it's known to strengthen blood vessel function also. When I am not so tired I find eye symptoms also improves. It does improve as your AF improves, mine have but I still have the symptoms just not as bad. At one stage I was even seeing everything in 3D!
