flashes of light in eyes, went to optometrist, concerned!
Hi,
I hope I'm posting in the right forum
I went to see an optometrist about 6 months ago due to eye strains and inability to focus (which came with other health problems due to my adrenals) and he said that everything was fine which i was ok with at the time.
fast foward to about last month and i noticed that besides the fact that my eyes haven't gotten any better, at night when my eyes were closed i would get weird flashes in my eyes.
i didn't think much of it until last week when my adrenals were really going bad and so did my eyes, the flashes of light were alot more intense and frequent and at times even when my eyes were open and i had alot more eye floaters than normal. and my eyes have just been hurting so much i thought flashes of light means i need to get my eyes checked again.
So i went to another optometrist today and they did the same test(pupil dilation) and esentially told me the same thing, I have a slight prescription ( i do have glasses) but other than that no damage. but she however didn't address the flashes of lights in my eyes at all, maybe i should've pressed it more? i definitely mention it more than enough times on the concern.
should
i pursue another optometrist or is the pupil dilation test a sound diagnostic test in finding damage like retinal detachment and the like?
and if i could ask another question, have any of you with adrenal fatigue experienced eye problems?
thank you for your time : )
