Never buy Sharper Image 3.0 ionizer...................

Using the ionizer caused me to have chest pains, pain in the jaw teeth, and pain between my shoulder blades. Precisely the symptoms I had with the heart attack years ago. The only thing missing was the shortness of breath. Naturally I was a mite concerned.

Newport is probably right about an underlying disease. I was a smoker for a lot of years so there could be a problem. I will follow his advice and keep using CZ for answers, just as I have for 10 years now.

Vairagi's explanation about negative ions vs positive ions told me a lot. I had no idea about the different effects of them. What he said makes a lot of sense.

Vairagi's post caused me to dig a little deeper into the unit I have. Seems that with so many lawsuits they filed bankruptcy. Too many problems.

I normally skip over or dismiss anything coming out of WebMD or Mayo websites. But there is too much other places to totally ignore:

I may look into some other type of ionizer but will advise folks to stay away from this model.
