Thank you folks for the info. I appreciate your input.

I cannot say CCBs is a good option since they were found to exacerbate many manifestations of heart failure in particularly diabetic patients in those studies. I am still dubious about many vitamins and their actual effects. If we take magnesium then we will have to balance it with potassium and add more stuff to put pressure on her liver and kidneys.

I would like to ask you guys if you know of any good diet that would prevent further progression of diabetes as well as reduce the current levels.
