For those in-the-know, tapering off HC is usually started at the same rate as tapering off benzos. So a 50% cut is pretty-much outrageous.
As far as 'what to do now' - that all depends upon if you've stabilized/adjusted to the cut or not...what you want to do, and what you discern your body can tolerate.
As with the benzos, cutting too much too quickly can easily result in symptoms that last for many months (even years), rather than being over in 2-4 weeks with the smaller cuts.
What I would likely do (assuming I could get my scr1pt 'upped') would be to *very gradually* increase the HC to see if I could stabilize or lessen symptoms.
Remember, a goodly percentage of people withdrawing from benzos are not able to go to school or work, as their exhausted GABA/calming centers simply cannot handle the stimulation. "Layed up" is typically the best way (sometiems only way) to withdraw successfully.
