I of course disagree with that. Vitamin C is isolated as Ascorbic Acid because that is the active part.

Back in the days you didnt stop scurvy with potatoes. They contain a lot of Vitamin C, but you used Limes because it supplied this isolate on mass.

..adding bioflavanoides makes Ascorbic Acid weaker not stronger. The duration of C in blood is extended when using bioflavanoides. This makes its ionizing abilities slower and weaker not better..

Ascorbic acid can chelate lead out of cholesterol but this is nearly stopped with bioflavanoides and buffering..

There is a war on against Ascorbic Acid, however you can buy all the bioflavanoides and buffered C you wish..

EDIT
..and Ascorbic Acid is gone off the shelves here, because only it, not any of the dozens of flavors of buffered work against Ebola.. although I would snort a little toasted organic tobacco myself instead..
