Re: So I went to the ER

Do you think benedryl helped or made it worse? I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around meds affecting parasites the way they affect us... mainly because they don't have brains or even blood for something like benedryl or anxiety meds or caffeine to cross the blood/brain barrier. If all this is true, then i wonder if they can be poisoned the same way a human can? Does alcohol or cigarettes have any effects on them too? What about narcotic pain killers? Would it be possible to OD them on something? Or knock them out long enough to make them lose their grip on our intestines or whatever means they use to absorb our nutrition... When I get put to sleep for a colonoscopy, will the anesthesia affect them too? If so, that could change the way we fight them.
