yes it does and has been used as an expectorant for over a century.
I can't use it with my mom right now because she is tapering off of valium.
The Iodine pushes out the valium too fast.
Halogens seem to alot more pushing out of things more than other halogens.
This explains why they added fluoride ions to antidepressants to get them into the receptors fast, keeping the side effects away until they reach tolerance. Tweet
