I have no problem with off topic posts, and I would certainly like this to be a place where our forum regulars feel free to post off-topic. It's natural to want to post in a forum where:

A. the post will be seen
B. known brainiacs like G-girl and Newport hang out.
C. one feels comfortable

Just make most of your posts iodine-related.

"User V" enjoys playing the devil's advocate. If he's being cantankerous, condescending. or just a general sh!t, ignore him. Or engage, just realize that you may have your grammar, vocabulary, grasp of Science or your grasp of reality questioned, challenged, or skewered. I have learned a great deal from "User V" over time, he's actually freakin' BRILLIANT.
