I think that the acupressure points work better, honestly. I haven't been able to take the chromium since two days ago, due to a sensitivity reaction, though...so I can't give you an accurate evaluation. I just know that the acu-points are a really good friend when I am not feeling well from low blood sugar. I got the points from one of the NAET books...I'd have to go look up the name of the book. It is an acupressure book for many pains and symptoms. The author's last name is "Nambudripod", I think.
