Re: India on its way to an antibiotic disaster

It's interesting to see that 77% of patients claim that they don't ask for antibiotics, while MDs claim that the majority do ask fore antibiotics. Either way, only the physician can write the prescription. It's typical to see MDs not being accountable for their actions. With millions of deaths each year being due to antibiotics and antibiotic resistance, I guess it's hard to be accountable, much less face your patients on a daily basis.
