Truthfully? Hmmm I wonder if you would judge me if I raised my hand and said yes....I have actually led organizations that were non-christian that helped people, as well as christian ones.
If I add my immediate family, to the mix, it's even more, for they have their own things that they do, and I sacrifice even more of my time and resources so they can do what they are called to do as well.
Perhaps you would ask me what they are and compare them to what you do? Perhaps you want to know my level of education to see how you compare on that?
No...I don't think you would believe me.
Christians are commissioned by God to share the gospel and focus on salvation as the first and foremost. Loving others is the next thing in line to do after we love Jesus and put Him first as our Savior.
All the good works that someone does...do not add up to salvation in Christ...however, salvation in Christ always leads to God first and the fruit of that salvation is loving others.
Because when we love others, we show that we truly love Christ. Agape love. No faking that.
I don't have to defend or explain my fruits, nor should anyone who is truly at peace and content with their fruits, whatever they might be.
