Re: Inhaled talc and experiencing breathing difficulties
So far, I have tried inhaled corticosteroids and then oral steroids prescribed by a physician. They lessened the pain (particularly the oral steroids), but did not seem to have any effect on the other symptoms. And if all its doing is making the pain go away and not fixing anything while I'm filling my body with medications, I don't want to be doing it.
I've been on a course of Serrapeptase, topical magnesium and for a few months, not sure if this has made a difference.
I've also changed my diet so I'm trying to avoid any potentially inflammatory substances; I don't consume any processed foods, dairy, caffeine, alcohol, sugars, and have started eating some kale and an avocado every day. I have a history of IBS, the only foods that are still potentially inflammatory is I eat a fair amount of brown rice?
I've also had some breathing exercises recommended to me to help expel the talc dust from my system but I have only just started in with those.
