Making the Most of Barefooters' Library

PlzChuckle began studying health here at CureZone in early 2006. WOW at the holistic dilemmas out there to be found!!

As I read, things resonated within me as truthes. Those things quickly became PlzChuckles Holistic Lifestyle. I had brain-fog so bad from the pain in my liver that I could barely remember what I'd read 5 minutes later. People, I made notes in note pad, I saved email in folders, I saved urls in My Favorites in catagorized folders. It started out being for ME; I didn't want to die!!

A few months into my lifestyle, I began holistic chatting. I found that people were running helter-skelter because of all the dilemma. I began sharing the information that I had accumulated in order to give those chatting buddies a place to begin formulating their own holistic lifestyle, giving them articles that I had found written by experts in the holistic world.

These articles were first posted at Natural Cure Community in their groups section; then moved to Barefooters' Holistic Lifestyle, another Ning site that I created. Ning has gone to a paysite. I refused to pay for a site that has it's own advertising, or to charge readers for membership in order to read. CureZone provided the space for the Library to be moved yet again.

Over the years of interacting with other holitics, I've had many talk about the complexity of CureZone; they find it confusing. This I've never understood.

One of my "gifts" is organization. From day one, here at CureZone, I've been able to get back to where I wanted to go and find the articles that interested me. Simple: I'd saved the pages. Let me share with you how to make the most of CureZone:

In your Favorites, make a folder, name it "Health"

Inside the health folder, make a folder for "CureZone"

Inside this CureZone folder make a folder for "Barefooters' Library"

Inside the Barefooters' Library folder, make folders for your favorite threads; you can even save the particular articles.

You can easily see how the structure of your Favorites can lead to quickly finding sites and articles that you are looking for at a glance. I easily have over 10,000 entries in my Favorites and can find them all relatively quickly.

I've just assumed that you know how to make folders in your Favorites, but in case not, let me explain:

At the top of this page, see File, Edit, View, Favorites.

~Click on Favorites, the first line down when you click on it says something similar to "Add to Favorites" no matter what operating system you're using; Click on this. It opens up a box that will say something similar to "Add a Favorite" ... on the right is a tab that says "New Folder" ... click on that and name that first addition Health.

~Go to www.curezone.com ... click on Favorites ... click on Add a Favorites ... click on the New Folder tab ... name this folder CureZone ... in the drop down, direct it to go into the "Health" folder.

~Go to your favorite forums at CureZone and add folders named for each forum. In the drop down, Direct the forum folders into the CureZone folder.

~Open your favorite Threads ... click on Favorites ... click on Add a Favorite ... click on the New Folder tab ... name the folder the name of the thread you've chosen to add ... direct the thread folder to the named forum folder in the drop down.

The Library is made with introduction pages. On these pages, one can "subscribe to email notifications." You will receive an email notification when any further articles are added to the thread. The notification will be in your CureZone email when you visit Curezone. You can't miss the fact that you have email!! Move notifications to the trash folder when there and again, you're seeing what you need at a glance. (I always open my email by right clicking and choosing "open in a new tab." Those of you who read here from the beginning will find this useful now that the Library is complete; the growth will be inside of the threads. Posts will be made somewhere pretty much on a daily basis.
