Are you jumpy? Do you startle easy? if you are, you are stuck in a state of stress.
Fat in the abdominal area can come from high cortisol. Cortisol seems to be the last hormone to fall with adrenal fatigue.
Do you get more energy late in the evening, but run out of energy in the afternoon? Do you have the afternoon energy crash?
If you had trouble sleeping, that can be a sign of stress signalling at night. People often have high cortisol in the morning (higher than normal), but low cortisol in the afternoon.
If you are not doing it already, make sure you meditate twice per day, 20-minutes each time. It is very helpful to calm the nervous system.
