Re: Trapper writes
Its ok, if everybody agreed it would be boring.
If you like Na/K ratio, then you can have infinite fun for yourself, just take all the elements that are essential, say, molybdenum and iodine, and make a Mo/I ratio, and give it your best shot to "balance" those. Or, perhaps Ca/Zn ratio. Then you can look at Mg/Cu ratio, and hundreds more, and "balance" all you want to your heart's content.
Na/K ratio ? C'mon already. Where at ? In a beaker ? In the serum ? Wait, what's in the serum isn't reflective of what's in "the body"
Its an artificial construct.
If you like "balancing" things, I imagine you could occupy a bunch of time. But what's the point ? Be a
Science nerd and titrate one's blood and if its not "balanced" or right, go eat some salty pretzels, then re-titrate, and so on. Sheesh.
I think the balancing stuff is hokum and when I see someone write about it, it doesn't make me think very highly of them, this includes many so-called "experts". Hey, lets talk about the vitamin B-12 to niacin ratio. Did you ever consider how very superduper important that might be ? Keep that baby balanced
:)
