Regarding symptoms, Did you experience any jaw pain? Do you have a tongue coating?

I'm so torn at the moment as to which direction to take, My tests confirmed that Blastocystis Homins was present, and normally this can be mild but there can be extreme cases.

I was considering an appointment here allergymedicaluk dot com,
where they are able to treat blasto and prescribe a triple drug therapy that has been v. successful in Australia. I think it makes sense to remove the blasto first as it can't be good and then pursue the cavitat scan. You had to wait 4 months for your appointment, was that a waiting list or did you pay a deposit upfront?

If you don't mind, please keep me informed of your progress and I hope it is successful. Feel a little happier that I have a plan!
