Current control is the key in making CS/IS ( Colloidal Silver /Ionic Silver). I use a beaker and lid with the silver electrodes through the top and it is on a magnetic stirrer/heater. So I can reduce the IS to CS while making it by having the heat turned up to 98ºC with the stirrer on and a small vortex(about an inch down formed by the stirrer) and pretty much have the CS/IS turn out just great. The big advantage is making as much as I want and the big cost is the distilled water(88¢ a gallon).
