If it is amino acids it should not require any digestion. Your body should not react to them if you have any permeability problems. I wonder whether the lymph nodes and hair loss are a symptom of your body reacting to malabsorbed protein. I have seen people have such problems but the blood pressure is often low in such cases. Or it might possibly be due to hypothyroidism.
It should be okay if it is hydrolyzed whey protein which should provide a pretty decent mix of amino acids.
