Be fearful no more !
No don't stop iodine. Your thyroid requires Iodine regardless of what your doctor says. Every cell in our body requires Iodine - especially the thyroid, brain & reproductive organs.

It is vital that you take selenomethionine with your iodine. If your antibodies are up, then you need to increase your selenium to 400mcg.

Also it is normal for your TSH to rise when taking iodine. This simply means that your body is absorbing Iodine like it is supposed to.

Hypothyroid means you are deficient iodine. IMO, your doctor needs to be trained on iodine.
