Re: 2 months post Mirena, still itching all over

thank god im not the only one.. Im a massage therapist and having this rash is NOT good for my career. In 2010 I had the Mirena in. Since then I have had mild rashes here and there and some outbreaks of hives from who knows what. The doctors kept telling me ist just the usual eczema and possible insect bite. Up til December 2014 I had a super bad outbreak and decided to do my own research on my conditions after being told it's just eczema and was prescribe the usual steroid oinments and predisone stuff. They have done blood works and skin biopsy. From the test it shows im allergic to something and low on vit. D. I have insist that they do a progesterone test on me because of all the cycle flare up when I had the Mirena IuD and now without. Im sure that the Mirena have left me with this Autoimmune Progesterone Dermatitis disorder. I am getting my testing done next week because im waiting for this luteal cycle to past. Is there legal representative out there for those of us whom is left with this horrible disorder but did not need surgical removal of our IUD? Tweet
