2 months post Mirena, still itching all over

I wanted to share my Mirena story and see if anyone else has or had the same issues, especially with the itching.

I had the Mirena placed in November 2010 after the birth of my first child. I experienced some anxiety by December 2010 and dizziness spells by August 2011. However the horrible itching all over my body started in May 2012. I went to allergists and dermatologists and no one could help me. After lots of thought, I discussed it with my husband and he suggested it might be the Mirena, so at my wits end...I had it removed September 2012. It's been removed for 2 months now and I still have itching.

Even worse, I experienced the "Mirena crash" at about 6 weeks post. I crashed so hard, I landed in the hospital for what I thought was a heart attack, only to be told, I was having a panic attack! What?! I don't get stressed and I was having a great day right before I about fell out on the floor. My heart felt like it was beat out of my chest, my hands, feet and face went numb, I was dizzy and light headed to the int of passing out. I hit rock bottom.

I had my first period post Mirena a week later and my symptoms went away for about a week, then BAM...back again, only maybe not as bad, but still terrible. I can handle the anxiety, but the itching has GOT to stop!! I cannot sleep and have to take care of my 2 year old during the day. I cannot be a good mom, much less wife when I constantly don't feel good. Who would feel good, when they haven't slept and feel like needles are stabbing you everywhere (itchy prickly heat)??!! Help, anyone stuffer from itching all over? What helps and when does it go away??
