If the GB4000 could be made this cheaply, it would. We make a less expensive Frequency Generator and while it is as accurate as the GB4000, it does not present all the features. At a price of $1395.00 something has to be sacrificed. What is being sacrificed in the unit being discussed?

The issues that I have with the current model under discussion is that I heard from one owner that the accuracy and frequency figures that they advertize are misleading. Also, a previous model from possibly the same group was found to be extremely off in regards to accuracy. This was posted on several forums but was reportedly removed under threat.

I believe that when these guys say that they are producing frequencies, they are reporting harmonics rather than actual base frequencies and this is very misleading.

If it is actually a good unit, I would like to know.
