You can try to consult with your doctor about starting off with 5mg doses. My doctor prescribed 5mg of Prednisone for me at one point. The result? It did not help one bit. By the way, I have had EC for 20 years now and I am super opposed to taking drugs. However, if there is one thing that EC does well is that it makes the sufferer desperate for a cure. So, this makes you inclined to try pretty much anything as I have felt like a guinea pig with doctors experimenting on me plenty of times.

I hope something finally works for you. I also hope the same for all of us here still suffering with this cursed condition.
