In addition to what the other members wrote, it might depend somewhat on what you are taking. I assume you are taking hydrocortisone or similar and DHEA. If you feel good, maybe you don't need to spend the extra$. However if you have symptoms of estrogen dominance, it would make sense to get them checked.
I'll respectfully and gently suggest that if you have estrogen dominance and you have a guy in your life, he'll gladly pay for the extra testing and hormone balancing!
Hormone balancing was huge for my relationship with my long time female friend. Detox (Cutler's protocol) has also been helpful. Her mood is so much more consistently pleasant. She is more affectionate. We like being together. We are finally talking about getting married.
Of course this is not just about *her* hormone balancing and detox! I'm less critical, more easy-going, less fogged out, etc.
If you have a heavy metal problem contributing to your health problems there are many little things that improve with a safe and effective form of detox.
