i went to the doctor in decemeber and got the normal bloodwoork where i was diagnosed hypothyroid so ive been supplementing with Iodine and am going back the end of this month.
This month I am getting a complete vitamin and mineral panel in addition to the normal bloodtest because I feel it more relevant to maintaining good health. IMO the bloodtest showing peoples' trigylcerides and cholesterol is meaningless without knowing why those things are at the levels they are.
that being said even if the vitamin/mineral levels come back at standard acceptable levels that doesnt mean thats proper for optimal health much akin to how 150mcg daily of Iodine is much too niggardly of an amount for good health.
at that point it will be more studying and learning about what intakes should translate into blood levels etc.. lol
