Sorry I've been away, try the D-mannose - I think it helps better to flush out some common invasive urinary bacteria that stick to the walls of the urethra. Once the bacteria gets flushed out, it will sting for a while until the epithelium heals. Always clean down there daily, it should go away. IF not, a physician visit might be in order.
Best way to check your urine is an actual laboratory test, but you can always use a pH strip to measure the acidity of the urine as well.
