Iodide and Diabetes improvement
So ive been talking to my family for awhile now about iodine.. but you know how family is... they dont pay alot of attention most of the time...
My sister wanted to try some potassium
Iodide she saw in a store.. low dosage.. 150mcg per drop.. so i told her to take 6-7 drops a day because the upper safe limit is 1100mcg and my dad being in the medical field couldnt have any problem with that.. this was on this monday this week
anyways my sister has type I diabetes that we assume was brought on from an exposure to chlorine gas 10 years ago.
Anyway on her 2nd day taking
KI she called me up to tell me that she had been driving and started getting the feeling that her blood
Sugar was too low, so she took it and it was 64... so she had to eat some jelly beans.
then after eating other food which always puts her
Sugar around 250, she noticed her
Sugar would only be 144. (110 is normal)
She now tells me her fast-acting insulin works properly (in 15 minutes) where it used to not work well, usually taking 3 hours..
so she has to take less insulin now.
I shipped her a bottle of
Lugol's which she should be getting today or tomorrow..
We are hopeful that the iodine/iodide will help her pancreas function properly to regenerate her beta cells and make her normal again.
we know its a long shot but if it needs
Iodine to function properly it could be the missing piece.
when she was younger she had some thyroiditis and endometriosis, so we know these things can be related to an
Iodine deficiency as well.
ill keep everybody updated
