Why do antibiotics work on folliculitus?

Hey everyone,
I Am a sufferer of folliculitis for almost 16 years. I've been taking Antibiotics steadily for basically 16 years. I have severe folliculitis on my scalp and most recently it just started to appear on my face and my beard.
Just like everybody else I have a very long story in this battle with scalp folliculitis of his hindered me from living a normal life.

As of recent I'm on a very strict Candida diet.

Here's my basic question and something that I'm very confused about.

I am hoping candida is the cause of my folliculitis so I'm attacking in the right way but I my question is is why would something like tetracycline or minocycline control folliculitis while you're on it if folliculitis is a yeast/fungal infection?

Since Antibiotics are effective on bacteria and antifungals are effective on yeast and fungus.

My heart goes out to everybody in this forum thanks so much
