Re: Dr. Weil skeptical of AF

I said under eating was part of the problem and that I don't think it alone would cause AF. AF, imo, is caused by a slew of stressors occurring all at the same time. Me for instance: combat and military related stress, alcoholism, stimulant abuse, poor and lack of sleep, excessive exercise, poor diet. All this created the perfect storm and wore me (something in my body, i think adrenals) out.

I have no remaining symptoms except a mental fog occasionally. And if I go to sleep later than midnight, say 1am and sleep till 10 the next day, I feel sleepy all day, groggy, lethargic.

There's already a section for extreme exhaustion. While that is a main symptom of AF, its not the only one. AF manifests into many symptoms.

Like I said before, not all starving people are also suffering from AF. And not all AF sufferers are starving themselves. And even if that were the case, simply eating would heal them.

But this not the case.

Its not a case of how fast they can produce hormones, its a case of CAN THEY PRODUCE AN ADEQUATE AMOUNT to maintain homeostasis.
