NB for adrenal fatigue

Hello all,

it's been awhile since I've posted here but I thought I would share some progress. I'm recovering from chronic fatigue (including adrenal fatigue) and low testosterone. It was pretty clear that conventional doctors had zero to offer so I tried the naturopathic route. I tried many different detox's and supplements including: Hulda Clark liver cleanse, intensive saunas, parasite cleanses, CEs, and too many supplements to list. I worked with DR Lam for almost two years - I had initial positive results then a big drop off and couldn't handle the vitamin C anymore - Lam didn't have any solution.

I finally found my way to ARL Labs and did a hair analysis test. I was pretty blown away by the results report. I had sent in my hair sample with no info other than name, sex, age. Came back with the low adrenal diagnosis, problems with blood sugar, extreme low energy, etc. This was the first report that was able measure & report on the problems I was experiences (without some jackass doctor telling me it was all in my head). I had many questions about the treatment protocol so I found Dr. Larry Wilson's site and the practitioners program that he uses to administer his version of the ARL program.

After 9 months and several more tests I have had some pretty positive results. Blood Sugar under control, blood pressure down 10 points, able to eat high potassium foods again, much better adrenal strength (no more crashes, better tolerance to exertion), much calmer, sleeping better, muscles responding better. Energy level got better, got worse during some difficult detoxing, and now has gotten better and seems to be on a steady upward track. The 'nutritional balancing'(NB) program is not easy, but much easier than living with CF.

As for Dr Lams approach - turns out the high vitamin C can lower the sodium/potassium mineral ratio which is a key vitality ratio in NB.

I'm sharing this info because I wish I had found the NB program 10 years ago. Reading thru the postings here it's clear that the biggest problem is getting an accurate assessment of what is wrong and then getting an appropriate program to fix the problem. The hair mineral analysis does that and provides lab reports to make continued adjustments as the body is brought back into balance and able to heal itself. This is a much more broad program than trying to fix the adrenals alone - that is needed because by the time the adrenals are exhausted the whole rest of the body is throw out of balance in an attempt to compensate.

Hope this helps and best of luck to all.
