Hi TakeCare, there is an ayurvedic remedy called nasya. You basically use a special pot to pour water (usually saline water) into one nostril and it clears out the entire nasal passage immediately. If you google it, google neti pot, nasal irrigation and you can find out the proper method. Not for everyone as it can feel a bit strange but very effective.
