Re: side effect...Vertigo?

I started experiencing car sickness while driving almost 3 years ago. This started around the time I had Mirena inserted. I did not make the connection until very recently. For the past week, I have been researching the side effects of Mirena that were not mentioned on the US medical websites or in the Mirena literature.

Last year I was diagnosed with a thyroid issue, a cyst on my liver (I rarely drink alcohol, glass of wine maybe 4-5 times a year) and gallstones. I initially chalked all of this up to me approaching my 40s (I'm 39 years old). For the past few years I've suffered from insomnia, extreme fatigue, and moodiness. The other occasional side effects that I experience are headaches, cramping and sharp pains and joint stiffness.

As I began to research I found that other women were having similar side affects. I also read the side effects from Rexall (Canada's distributor for Mirena) and they had an extended list of side effects, some of which explain what I was experiencing.
