Re: Capric acid/lauric acid vs undecenoic acid/ Combo therapy?

All fatty acids have an anti fungal effect. Candida doesn't wipe bacteria. It inhibits species like Lactobacillus and Lactobacillus inhibits candida.

I doubt that the immune system would be shut down. It can be suppressed or dysregulated. Immunosuppression is more likely going to be dysregulation, although overall it could be suppressed. In that case, it's more about boosting the correct immune response, while correcting fungal candida imbalances.

Since, undecenoic acid has been found to be more effective than both caprylic and lauric acids, I would theoretically just use more undecenoic acid, although I haven't ever seen that to speed the process. I haven't seen people adding caprylic and lauric acids, GSE, herbs, berberine, and other substances being able to speed up the process either.

It's never just about the microbe. The cells, immune system, bacteria, and everything else has to be considered. It's about the ecosystem. It takes time.
