The first 3 photos are from a towel w/ a purple thread I pulled from it because it had become long and raggedy... to me it looked like a fungal filament had wrapped around a larvae of some type...

The red fiber was what looked like fuzz on some clothing... it's wrapping up some hair looking "sugar snakes"...
