Re: Is T3 treatment really that bad for AFers?

I would be cautious about this. Could it work and get good effects for some people? Sure. But I have heard stories on here of trainwrecks and serious f$#kups caused by people being given thyroid meds by health practitioners who didn't understand adrenal dysfunction. In rare cases, people have died from taking T3.

When I started taking very gentle nutritional (not pure T3) thyroid support almost 2 years into adrenal recovery, it was quite stimulating. It gave me TONS of energy. But I could handle it.

I took a "slow & natural" path to recovery, of the kind advocated Dr. Lam. It worked well for me.

But I had the blessing & luxury of being able to take it slow... having my family assist me with buying supplements and giving me a room to stay in rent-free for a year while I recovered.
